Septic tank reimbursement program helps to cover the cost to residential or commercial property owners for pump-out and/or inspection of separate sewage disposal systems on property in Westchester County Sewer Districts and which are subject to sewer taxes. The program is effective from September 3, 2008 until September 2, 2014. Reimbursement amounts: For sewage disposal system pump-out: Once every 3 years, if qualified, up to $300 For sewage disposal system inspection: Once every 6 years, if qualified, up to $275 Note: The reimbursement will not exceed the cost of the pump-out and/or inspection.
