Goal is to meet the social needs of its members who are learning disabled/socially disabled by building the member's self-esteem and providing social skills to be used in every day life. Weekly activities are planned from a list of possible choices. Once a month the group goes on a day tour to educational sites such as: West Point Academy, Sony Imax Theatre, NBC Studios, South Street Seaport. Special highlights include overnight trips. Meets weekly at the Recreation Center at New York Institute of Technology in Old Westbury, New York. Call for information.
