Volunteers are needed to do a variety of things, from brushing cats and dogs to assisting in the training programs. Time commitments can range from a few hours a week to as much time as volunteer wants to give. Service is provided in 19 communities in Westchester County including Ardsley, City of Rye, Dobbs Ferry, Eastchester, Elmsford, Greenburgh, Harrison, Hartsdale, Hastings-on-Hudson, Irvington, Larchmont, New Rochelle, Pelham, Pelham Manor, Rye Brook, Scarsdale, Tarrytown, Town of Mamaroneck and Village of Mamaroneck.

Every animal is provided with a comprehensive healthcare program that includes vaccinations, deworming, spay/neuter, micro-chipping, and a free vet visit from a list of participating veterinarians.
