Providing organization

HUDSON VALLEY COMMUNITY SERVICES (HVCS) -DUTCHESS

Hudson Valley Community Services (HVCS) provides community-based healthcare and support services for Hudson Valley residents living with complex, chronic illnesses. We also educate and counsel people at high risk for certain infectious diseases. Typically, we work with people who have few resources [or, people at or below the poverty level] and don’t know where to turn for help. We do everything we can to ensure our clients remain connected to the medical care and support services they need to have a better quality of life. HVCS has over thirty years of experience in connecting individuals and families in need to essential resources. We began as a small group of volunteers in 1983 in response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic and have now grown into a comprehensive, independent community healthcare agency that serves seven counties from nine offices.
