Provides a nutritious lunch for individuals 60 years and older along with the opportunity for socialization, recreation, and health information at meal sites throughout Jefferson County. Meals meet one third the recommended daily intake and are prepared with reduced salt. Unable to accommodate special diet requests. JEFFERSON COUNTY OFFICE FOR THE AGING
Provides supportive programs designed to assist the aging population to remain independently in their homes. Programs include home delivered meals, homemaker and caregiver services, health insurance counseling, energy assistance, transportation, and legal advocacy. Works with government, and community service agencies to create programs with a direct benefit to older Americans.
