Treats adult patients recovering from coma or with traumatic brain injury (TBI). Employs wide range of technologies to address diverse patient needs. Emphasizes family involvement in rehabilitation process. Maintains secure, private facilities designed to accommodate special needs of brain-injured patients. Requires that program candidates have nondegenerative brain damage, be medically stable and responsive, and have reasonable expectation of rehabilitation.
