Eligibility
Anyone who participates (or whose child, dependent, or household member(s) participates) in SNAP, Medicaid, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA), Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit, or Tribal Programs (and live on federally-recognized Tribal lands), or whose income is 135% less than the Federal Poverty Guidelines.

Once a participating company has been found, there are three ways to apply:
1) Contact a participating phone or internet company
2) Apply online here: https://nationalverifier.servicenowservices.com/lifeline
3) Mail your completed application with proof of eligibility to:

A federal program that lowers the monthly cost of phone and internet. Eligible customers will get up to $9.25 towards their bill. Customers can use Lifeline for either phone or internet, but not both.
Lifeline is a program of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
