Eastern Orleans Community Center - Community Action of Orleans & Genesee

Provides emergency services on a walk-in or referral basis, including:

• Food pantry access
• Cleaning supplies, hygiene supplies, diapers, and baby wipes (while supplies last)
• Vouchers for clothing and household items
• Emergency rental assistance to prevent eviction (based on funding availability)
• Emergency utility assistance to avoid service disconnection (based on funding availability)

Also offers public computer and internet access, daily lunches through a community kitchen, resource information, and social and recreational activities such as bingo and crafts. A surplus food distribution is offered three times per week; see Hours below. Case management services are available to connect individuals and families with essential community resources, develop individualized plans, and provide ongoing support with the goal of empowering participants to achieve long-term stability and self-sufficiency while addressing immediate needs.
