BROWN BAG GROCERY PROGRAM | HILLSIDE FOOD OUTREACH - CONNECTICUT AND PUTNAM

Deliver bags of groceries, dairy, frozen foods and fresh produce, once a month, to those who are homebound, including those with special diets. Emergency deliveries are also available to those who are in immediate need and cannot wait for the scheduled monthly delivery.

NORTHERN WESTCHESTER PRODUCE DELIVERY PROGRAM | UNITED WAY OF WESTCHESTER AND PUTNAM

Provide supplemental fresh produce to low-income households living in Northern Westchester on a monthly basis. The program is limited to 500 households within a 15-mile delivery radius of Community Center of Northern Westchester in Katonah or the Fran Boylan- Holy Spirit Food Pantry in Cortlandt Manor. You must be a resident of Bedford, Buchanan, Cortlandt, Croton-on-Hudson, Lewisboro, Millwood, Mount Kisco, North Salem, Ossining, Peekskill, Pound Ridge, Somers, or Yorktown to participate. Seniors and homebound individuals are encouraged to participate, but it is not limited to these community members.

Clothing Assistance. Diaper Assistance. Vouchers to area supermarkets for food and personal items. Advocacy and referrals to outside agencies. Crisis assessment and management. Bilingual Services. Registration for Salvation Army Programs (Project Bundle Up, Long Point Camp, Christmas Assistance, etc.)

COMMODITY SUPPLEMENTAL FOOD PROGRAM (CSFP) | NEW YORK STATE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH - CSFP

Offers free, nutritious foods to adults aged 60 years of age and older. During the summer months, participants also receive additional benefits to purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at farmers’ markets through the Senior Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program

Provides a package of basic foods to low income individuals and families, once a month.

FEEDING UNITED HOME DELIVERY PROGRAM | UNITED WAY OF WESTCHESTER AND PUTNAM

Provides supplemental fresh produce to low-income households of school-aged children bi-weekly on Wednesdays during the school year. This program is for families with students who qualify for free or reduced lunch. The program is limited to 1000 households within a 15-mile delivery radius of the Mount Vernon Library, The Boys & Girls Club of Mount Vernon, Ossining High School, or Peekskill High School. To participate, you must be a resident of Elmsford, Larchmont, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, Ossining, Peekskill, Pelham, Sleepy Hollow, Tarrytown, Tuckahoe, White Plains, or Yonkers.
