Registration begins one day prior, either online or by calling 2-1-1 or 877-211-8667. Distributes food to people in need through more than 160 food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters and other hunger relief organizations six counties.Administers several direct service food distribution programs including the food "BackPack Program" and Mobile Food Pantry.BackPack Program requires very specific foods. When the mobile food pantry truck arrives at a site, volunteers place the food on tables surrounding the truck. Clients are then able to "shop", choosing items that they need.
