Provides adult day services including personal care services, recreation, entertainment, games, crafts, light exercise, music, interaction with children, breakfast, and lunch. Also offers special program for persons diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease or related disorders and those with early onset Alzheimer's (under age 60) . Also offers support groups and educational events for caregivers. Transportation is available.

Provides a hot nutritious meal to Town of Islip residents 60 and over. Reservations are required.

As a Parish Outreach Center, provides a variety of concrete emergency services, such as bereavement support group for loss of a child, food pantry, home delivered meals, clothing, limited financial assistance, holiday baskets and gifts, transportation, shopping, budgeting, employment advocacy, and basic needs for living, ie furniture to community members living within parish boundaries. Check with parish coordinator for details.

Food boxes are delivered by volunteers to scheduled households with people who cannot attend the food pantry because they are home-bound or lack transportation.

Delivers a hot lunch, during the week, to seniors who are homebound. Call to locate participating programs in the area.

Offers a hot lunch meal accompanied by an activity at the senior center (Van Tassell House) on weekdays, and home delivered meals for those seniors who are homebound due to age, illness or fragile, in the community. Delivered 11:00 am-2:00 pm weekdays.

Provides a total of 95 meals served daily between congregate and Meals on Wheels at the center facility and delivered to the frail and homebound elderly.

Provides delivered meals to local residents who are home bound due to age, illness or disability.

Office for the Aging has congregate meals which are available to adults age 60 and older as well as their spouses of any age, without regard to income, up to five days a week. They also have a Meals on Wheels program which delivers meals to home bound older residents in the community.

Congregate Meals – Nutritious lunch is available to eligible Town of Islip Senior Citizens at our six nutrition centers, Monday through Friday. Reservations must be made in advance. Transportation may be available. Please call for information.

The Warren-Hamilton Counties Office for Aging delivers a hot noon meal to the homes of eligible seniors.
