Another service is the counseling, specifically designed for the unique circumstances that victims and survivors encounter. Offers The Law Project which provides consultation and representation on civil-legal matters to income-eligible victims, and survivors within the county.

Offers shelter services and a 24-hour hotline, as well as advocacy for domestic violence victims and counseling services for domestic violence victims and their children. Provides counseling and support services to victims as well as support groups, 16 years of age and older, who are abused and their children (5 years and older).

24-hour confidential hotline provides information and referral to shelter services as well as counseling, support, and advocacy for individuals who are survivors of domestic violence and their children. Emergency domestic violence shelter is available 24/7 for survivors and their children. Shelter is at a confidential location. Services offered at the shelter include:

Provides prevention, intervention, and education services. Offers community, professional, and school-based education on domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and dating violence. Provides advocacy, accompaniment, referrals, emergency shelter, crisis intervention, counseling, and emotional support to individuals experiencing domestic and/or sexual violence.

Residential and Shelter Program: Open to all victims of domestic violence and their children. Provides information and referral, advocacy, crisis intervention, counseling, support group, and case management. Non-Residential Services: Chautauqua County Domestic Violence Rape Crisis Hotline, information and referral, advocacy, support groups, crisis intervention, and case management. Children and Family Outreach: Provides group and individual counseling services to children who are past or present victims of domestic violence, sexual abuse, and/or child abuse. Education and Outreach: Offers presentations in schools and the community on a variety of topics, with a focus on domestic violence and sexual assault. Support Groups: For women and children; call hotline for meeting times, location, etc.

May provide services to men who are victims but is not able to accommodate them in the safe dwelling, but referrals are made for other options. Donations of new clothing are accepted; new socks underwear and bras, are most needed, as well as pajamas, sweatpants/yoga pants, t-shirts and sweatshirts of all sizes, children's sizes to XXXL adult.

Services include: safe confidential dwelling for domestic violence victims, short-term counseling, and 24-hr toll-free confidential hotline. Provide a temporary place to stay for people who are domestic violence survivors and those who survived human trafficking.

Provides shelter for homeless women and children as well as relief for individuals in domestic violence situations. Offers security 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Stays are generally 30 days with an extension if needed. Arrangements are made for residents to move to transitional living situations in an effort to attain self-sufficiency. Provides transitional housing for women. Services provided to residents include: on-site medical care; classroom for preschool children; certified public school teachers and classroom for school age children; licensed daycare; referrals for case management, food, clothing, and shelter; links with social workers and mental health counselors; and a 12 step recovery program for drug and alcohol abuse. HOURS: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm; Shelter operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
