We also have learning aids, toys and games for early intervention, as well as pediatric equipment. Free delivery may be available.

Rents, sells, repairs and installs new and used mobility equipment such as wheelchairs, scooters, ramps, stair, patient and pool lifts and medical equipment to individuals on Long Island and the tri-state area. Offers the services of a certified aging-in-place specialist to assist with an evaluation of the individuals's living situation, recommendation of medical equipment and mobility products and provides information on assisted living and senior care services.

This service provides internal and external physical adaptations to the home or other eligible residences of the enrolled child which per the child's plan of care (POC) is identified as necessary to support the health, welfare, and safety of the child or that enable the child to function with greater independence in the home and without which the child would require institutional and/or more restrictive living setting.

Home modification refers to adaptations to the home environment to increase ease of use, safety, comfort, security, and independence. Major modifications include ramps, roll-in showers, and lowered countertops. Minor modifications include grab bars, widened doorways, better lighting, hand-held showers, and lever door handles.

A local volunteer organization that, in partnership with the community, rehabilitates the homes of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly, disabled and families with children so that they may continue to live in warmth, safety and independence. Most work occurs on the last Saturday in April and October each year, however their application process is year-round. The work is completed by volunteers throughout the year.
