A local volunteer organization that, in partnership with the community, rehabilitates the homes of low-income homeowners, particularly the elderly, disabled and families with children so that they may continue to live in warmth, safety and independence. SAIL provides information, advice, and assistance to individuals with disabilities and family members concerning and/or retaining housing, including accessible and affordable housing. When necessary, assistance is provided for completing housing applications and communicating with landlords. Information is also provided concerning tenant and landlord rights and responsibilities.
