Henry E. Wrobel Towers - Niagara Falls Housing Authority

Provides subsidized independent living apartments for persons age 62 and older or physically disabled, able to live independently (aide services are not provided). This 13-story high-rise consists of 250 one-bedroom units. Resident services include a transportation program for medical appointments and weekly grocery shopping; a mini-grocery store in the building; an exercise program; and on-site security. Also acts as a host site for the Niagara Nutrition Program, which is open to the public.

PUBLIC HOUSING: 27 developments throughout city. Eligible applicants are placed on a site-based waiting list at the time of application. When their position on the waiting list is reached, they are offered units in their chosen development. Eligibility requires meeting the low income limits for the number of persons in their family. Placement factors: date of application, priority and preferences, broad range of income. Waiting lists may close if applications exceed supply. 55 & Over Affordable Housing - La Rosa Villas

An affordable housing community for individuals 55 years old and above located in the village of Le Roy, New York. Heat, air conditioning, hot water and electric are included in the rent and on-site laundry facilities are available at no cost to the tenant. Apartments feature a fully equipped kitchen with a range, refrigerator, and microwave, and a wall-mounted flat screen TV including basic cable service and in-unit storage.
