Administers the Housing Choice Voucher Rental Assistance Program in Suffolk County for the New York State Homes and Community Renewal and other public housing agencies. Manages the distribution of annual rent subsidies on behalf of Suffolk County residents. Rental Assistance Program assists eligible families to rent housing from the private rental housing market. Wait list is currently closed. Also administers the Nursing Home Transition and Diversion (NHTD) program and Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) program in Suffolk and Nassau County.

Residential housing for adults with learning and other developmental disabilities in settings that allow individuals to increase their independence while building daily living skills.

Individuals with disabilities define their own needs, and learn to advocate for themselves in securing and maintaining suitable housing that will allow them to live as independently as possible. Provides information on housing rights and how to apply for subsidized programs.

Provides residential services ranging from 24 hour supervision to supportive apartment living with minimal supervision.

Offers a variety of housing options, including Individual Residential Alternatives (IRAs), group-style IRAs with 24-hour on-site staff support, apartment-style IRAs in either supported or supervised settings, emergency and transitional housing for those who are homeless or in danger of becoming homeless, independent apartments, and affordable housing.

Provides a variety of supports for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, using a Person-Centered and Trauma-Informed Care approach. There are numerous homes throughout Erie, Chautauqua, Niagara, and Monroe Counties. Each has qualified staff available 24 hours a day. There are a variety of unique homes for people looking for particular services, including homes for children, specialized homes for people with complex medical needs, several apartment options, and so much more. All residential services are certified through the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.

The program provides assistance to persons who live in a nursing home or are unstably housed with choosing, accessing, and maintaining an independent apartment.
