Provides assistance with basic needs for individuals or families who have emergency need, including those who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. Services provided, as resources permit, include emergency rent payment assistance, local and long distance transit fare, prescription payment assistance, clothing, utility assistance, and baby formula.

People helping people. Low priced clothing, books, household items and other domestic needs. Items are also available for no cost to anyone in need. All proceeds from the store go to the Parish Social Ministry, which assists all people in need, within our community.

Offers a hot meal four days a week, and provides a package of non-perishable food twice a month, including foods for people without cooking facilities and special health needs. The amount of food given is determined by family size. Also offers a holiday food package for Cinco de Mayo, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

A limited supply of baby items are available upon request to meet the emergency needs of infants and very young children. Supplies include diapers, infant formula, baby food, and baby care products. Limited quantities available.

Pregnancy support center offering peer counseling, free pregnancy tests, information, abstinence education, and referrals for social services/housing. Donated items available including clothing, diapers, food, and furniture.

Processes applications for a variety of health insurance programs including Medicaid, Medicaid Managed Care, Family Health Plus (FHP), and Prenatal Care Assistance Program (PCAP), Family Planning Benefits Program (FPBP), Baby/Adult Diaper Assistance, Medicaid Buy-In for Working People with Disabilities (MBI-WPD), and the Medicare Savings Program (MSP). Also provides transportation for Medicaid recipients requiring Medicaid-covered services.

As a Parish Outreach Center, provides a variety of concrete emergency services, such as food, clothing, limited financial aid or holiday assistance, to community members living within parish boundaries. Advocacy work such as Meals on Wheels is also available. Check with parish coordinator for details.

Offers a hot lunch, during the week, to anyone in need of a meal. Also provides a package of food to low income individuals and families, including access to the Open Closet for anyone who needs clothes.

A thrift store which also provides comprehensive job skills training opportunities, employment support services, and educational opportunities for residents for Orleans and Genesee Counties. Thrift store accepts donations of good condition household items, furniture, books, DVDs, CDs, collectibles, current educational materials, craft and hobby items, musical instruments, antiques, small and large appliances, and workplace apparel. Pick up available for donations of large household items and furniture. Employment services include resume and job search assistance, job skills training, and on-the-job work experience. Also offers free access to computers and internet for job searching activities. Educational services include high school equivalency preparation credit recovery. Also provides budgeting assistance, income/expense scheduling, and fax and copy services.

Provides basic services including home visits, furniture, clothing, food and occasionally financial support.

Provides a package of food, including emergency food supplies for low income individuals or families. Also offers clothing and other household items if needed.

Provide new school clothing to needy children in the Greenburgh/Elmsford Public School Districts with the help of donations from local corporations, their employees, clubs, individuals and schools.

Provides community outreach services including a soup kitchen, clothing drives and compassionate visits to homes and assisted living facilities. Also offers Hospital Visitations and assistance to working individuals with a spouse, child, or parent in need. We are also offering winter coats to those in need. Bi-monthly food distribution includes fresh produce.

Provides essential medical services for persons receiving Public Assistance and other low-income persons. Services covered include inpatient and outpatient hospital care, physician services, skilled nursing care, laboratory and x-ray services, early and periodic screening of children, home health care services and transportation services. Call for detailed information regarding services offered. Medicaid can cover incontinence supplies, including diapers, for children and adults who meet specific requirements.

Provides used or new household items, clothes, toys and other items to low income residents. Also accepts donations of toys, clothes, household items, etc. If donating furniture please call first to check if there is a need, space is limited.
