Provides assistance with basic needs for individuals or families who have emergency need. Services provided, as resources permit, include emergency rent payment assistance, clothing, utility assistance on a limited basis (excluding water/sewer bills), and personal hygiene items (shampoo, toothpaste, sanitary items, diapers).

Offers food vouchers from the Utica office, and a food pantry for individuals and families in the Rome area. Assists with prescription dug assistance for up to a month supply, depending on fund availability to Madison County residents.

Free hot meals, community and advocacy for everyone. All are welcome. Free hot meals on site and practical assistance and referrals for people in need, especially those in situations of poverty, homelessness or loneliness.Lunch: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 11:30am-1pm.Evening meal: Tuesday, Thursday, 5:00-6:30 pm.The dining hall opens early in extreme temperatures (less than 32 degrees F and more than 85 degrees F for heating / cooling needs of our guests.Laundry Love- Drop off laundry on Tuesday 12-1pm and pick up is Friday 10-11am. The Community Food Pantry provides food, personal care products, some household supplies, infant formula and diapers to Cortland County residents free of charge.Call ahead (607)756 5992 ext. 110 for information and schedule if possible. Walk-in service is an option, although limited due to COVID-19. A family receives food for 9 meals and can use the pantry once a month. Open Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 1pm-4pm. Household necessities, such as toilet paper, soap, personal care products and other items that cannot be purchased with Food Stamps are also available. Inventory of these items varies.
