Thrift store accepts donations of good condition household items, furniture, books, DVDs, CDs, collectibles, current educational materials, craft and hobby items, musical instruments, antiques, small and large appliances, and workplace apparel. Pick up available for donations of large household items and furniture. Employment services include resume and job search assistance, job skills training, and on-the-job work experience. Also offers free access to computers and internet for job searching activities. Educational services include high school equivalency preparation credit recovery. Also provides budgeting assistance, income/expense scheduling, and fax and copy services. Also provides discreet, dignified access to laundry facilities, hygiene products, and life skills support for students in need.

Provides emergency services on a walk-in or referral basis, including food pantry, rental assistance for eviction prevention, utility shut-off assistance, cleaning supplies, hygiene products, and diapers. Emergency clothing and limited household supplies available by voucher to Community Action's Main Street Thrift Store (also located at 131 South Main Street). Also offers personalized case management, through which clients can be connected with vital services such as primary care, behavioral health services, peer counseling, insurance enrollment, and health home coordination, with the goal of empowering families to achieve long-term self-sufficiency.

Walk-in service is an option, although limited due to COVID-19. A family receives food for 9 meals and can use the pantry once a month. Open Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays between 1pm-4pm. Household necessities, such as toilet paper, soap, personal care products and other items that cannot be purchased with Food Stamps are also available. Inventory of these items varies.

Provides and distributes prepared meals, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, clothing and washkits to soup kitchens, and parish outreach programs throughout Long Island. Wash kits (soap, comb, razors) are made up and handed out on Wednesdays, and sandwiches and Bags to go served on Saturdays. Donations are also accepted such as Winter Coats, scarfs, boots, socks and clothing.
