City/Municipal Trial Court that handles civil cases which involve traffic tickets, personal injury, property damage or liability, medical or dental malpractice, real estate actions, equity suits such as injunction proceedings, specific performance contract disputes, administration of trusts and foreclosure on mortgages, as well as adoptions, probate, family law and psychiatric cases.

Enhance pedestrian and vehicular safety through education and timely adjudication of all traffic, parking and photo enforcement related offenses.

* Assists the Rochester City Court in administering and disposing of certain traffic infractions. Most traffic infractions in the City of Rochester will be handled by the RTVA. Some specific traffic infractions will be handled in Rochester City Court.
