ASCEND PROGRAM | ONEIDA COUNTY SHERIFF

* Provides Assistance for Special, Cognitive, Emotional Needs & Disabilities. Program will allow residents with preexisting mental health concerns, developmental disabilities, health conditions, or religious or cultural considerations to voluntarily submit their information to the county so that law enforcement and fire and EMS personnel are aware of their needs and can provide the proper support and resources. Information volunteered to the ASCEND program is strictly confidential. some of the condition that can be reported are:

VICTIM INFORMATION AND NOTIFICATION EVERYDAY (VINE) | NEW YORK STATE DIVISION OF CRIMINAL JUSTICE SERVICES

Anyone who wants notification of an inmate release can use a touch-tone phone to get information about inmates in the Department's custody and register for notification of the offender's release, escape, death, and/or participation in a furlough or temporary release (work release) program. Notification will not be provided when an inmate transfers from one state Correctional Facility to a different state Correctional Facility.

* Offers crisis counseling for all victims of domestic violence. Hotlines for victims, concerned family, friends and the general community in domestic violence situations or know someone who is. * Offers shelter and/or services to Domestic Violence victims and their children. No maximum number of children that may be brought into the shelter. If number exceeds beds available, other arrangements will be made.
