Provides a statewide system of accepting reports of suspected child abuse and child neglect. Reports can be made anonymously, but helpful for local child protective investigators to have someone to contact. All reports referred back to local social services which has time limit on follow-up and to file report as to whether allegations are indicated or unfounded.
