Coordinates with the Chautauqua County Child Abuse Multidisciplinary Team to respond to child physical and sexual abuse cases to reduce trauma to children and non-offending family members and stewards of children. Offers a prevention and response training for adults. Provides trauma counseling and problematic sexual behavior counseling for children 17 and under.

Provides follow-up and referral services to adult victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Program works to enhance victim safety and support as well as perpetrator accountability. Staff collaborates with Jamestown City Court, Chautauqua County District Attorney's office, Catholic Charities (domestic violence classes for men), Chautauqua County Probation/Parole, Salvation Army, and many other human service counseling agencies to provide a coordinated community response to domestic violence. Investigates, interviews, and prosecutes crimes committed by suspects under the age of 16 years.

Provides information to the public, law enforcement agencies, businesses and other entities about individuals required to register as sex offenders in New York State. Maintains an online directory of individuals determined to have a Level 2 or 3 risk of re-offense. The state’s NY-ALERT system can provide notifications whenever a Level 2 or Level 3 sex offender listed in the online directory moves.

A toll-free hotline focused on vaccine-related fraud. New Yorkers who suspect fraud in the vaccine distribution process should call the hotline at 1-833-829-7226 or email the Department of Health at [email protected]. One example of fraud would be any offer of the vaccine in exchange for payment. Hotline staff will route complaints to the appropriate investigative agencies to ensure New Yorkers are not being taken advantage of.

The Dutchess County Office for the Aging offers a wide variety of services to meet the nutritional needs of persons 60 years and older. Services include congregate meals at OFA Friendship Centers, Home Delivered Meals for homebound older adults, nutrition education and counseling, picnics during the summer, and year-round health promotion events.

In partnership with Joe Torre Safe At Home Foundation, it offers violence awareness and prevention curricula in schools in communities for youth, staff and parents.
