Conducts a variety of workshops for people of all ages. School-based workshops include staff development workshops, in-classroom workshop, bias awareness, bullying, problem solving, and a three-day peer mediation training workshop for students. Community-based workshops are conducted for community, organizations, hospitals, and religious organizations that work with children and young adults. Conflict Resolution for Facilitators Workshop provides participants with conflict resolution training skills. Nurturing Inclusive Community Environment (NICE) is an emotional support program designed to end school violence and encourage academic success in a safe, peaceful learning environment. The CRC Elder Concerns gives support in the decision making process regarding health concerns and the transition to assisted living or nursing homes. Other services are also available, such as in-service course credits, mediation services, response to bullying workshops, a leadership and social justice day camp, LGBTQ workshops, and a re-entry support program for formerly incarcerated parents and their children.

A DBT Booster Group focusing on friendships, conflict-resolution, bullying, self-esteem, and coping and communication skills. Male groups can be formed if there is enough interest.

Throughout the year, Community Relations Unit visits each Suffolk County School District as well as multiple clubs and various organizations. Its main goal is to bridge the gap between Law Enforcement and the members of the Community. Promotes non-violent conflict resolution techniques to educators, parents and young people workshops on restorative practices, conflict resolution concepts, communication, affirmation, mediation, bullying prevention and intervention, creative problem solving, bias awareness, social emotional learning and mediation services.

Presents a program that is an evidence-based curriculum offered in many states throughout the nation. The classroom curriculum is taught by Suffolk County Deputy Sheriffs and Correction Officers who received specialized training to present to elementary and middle school students. Prevention as its primary objective, the program aims to prevent bullying, youth crime, violence, drug use, and gang involvement while promoting a positive relationship among law enforcement, families, and our youth. G.R.E.A.T. Lessons focus on life skills designed to help students avoid using delinquent behavior and violence to solve problems, and further helps them make positive choices in life. Teaches students how to look for warning signs, signals, and threats, especially in social media, of an individual who may be a threat to themselves or others and to say something to a trusted adult to get help. We want to teach students to understand and recognize warning signs and threats, how to act immediately, take it seriously, understand strategies to take action, and overcome potential barriers to being an “upstander” rather than a “bystander." Educates students on the dangers and impact of alcohol and drug abuse, and bullying prevention, and offers help to those struggling with addiction or dealing with bullying problems.

Offers seminars of education and awareness to the general public, professionals, and community groups on various mental health topics, such as bullying, alcohol/drug addiction, like skills training, adolescent issues, and more.

The Anti-Bullying Initiative is designed to raise awareness, prevent and reduce bullying. It provides youth with opportunities to learn about bullying and how to respond to prevent and decrease bullying in their schools.
