RAISE THE BAR | VERA HOUSE

Partners with alcohol-serving establishments in Onondaga County to create safe environments that help to prevent sexual and relationship violence and sexual harassment. Participating establishments' staff and management are trained in the Safer Bars Model, which focuses on bystander intervention and building skills for identifying and responding to sexual aggression and relationship abuse, with a focus on prevention.

CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER (CAC) - CVAC | CRIME VICTIMS ASSISTANCE CENTER

Provides neutral and child-friendly setting for children to be interviewed during investigation of child sexual abuse, child physical abuse, and child who witnessed domestic violence. Provides coordinating services to expedite investigation and prosecution of cases while ensuring that victim receives immediate support and services. Referral ONLY from Child Protective Services or Law Enforcement.

PREVENTION PROGRAMS | NORTHERN RIVERS FAMILY OF SERVICES

Provides in home social work services to families identified as having children, ages birth to 18 years, at risk of foster care placement or who are already in placement with the need for reunification or alternative permanency planning.

Services include in-home counseling, advocacy, supervised visitation, permanency planning assessment, education and support groups, collaboration, case management, and information and referral.
