Offers services for gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender and questioning youth (13-21) in order to foster a positive sense of self, reduce isolation and address high risk behaviors. There are two after school drop in centers, weekly support groups, individual counseling and advocacy, family counseling, education workshops, social activities and networking meetings to help foster alliances with other gay/straight teens.

Provides a dynamic group of student activists from Nassau and Suffolk counties that evaluates, directs and implements programs and services to create safer and more supportive schools for LGBT students and their allies.

Responsible for the investigation and case preparation of all violations of law perpetrated primarily due to any reported crime committed against a person or property because of race, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, color, national origin, ancestry, gender, age or disability. Staff development training in schools and youth-serving organizations. Training curricula offer skills and resources for clinicians, teachers and administrators to end bullying, homophobia and violence in schools and our communities.

Educators provide specially tailored trainings in schools, small businesses, government agencies, non-profit organizations, and corporations. Issues discussed include: racism, Anti-Semitism, sexism, homophobia and other forms of discrimination including sexual harassment, bullying and cyber bullying. Call for more information.

Conducts risk reduction programing for people at increased risk for HIV/STI infection. Provides educational forums and in-service trainings for service providers and community-based organizations, the media, and the general public. Works with corporations as well as community-based organizations to provide in-house HIV/AIDS/STI testing and harm reduction education. Participates in consortia, workshops, conferences, public forums, and health fairs.
