Provides a prevention program that promotes low-risk choices for students and reflects the attitudes, behaviors, and values of healthy lifestyles. Peer Educators are trained to facilitate on-campus and off-campus presentations that deal with alcohol and other drugs, general wellness, violence prevention, and sexual health. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH | CENTER FOR SAFETY AND CHANGE

Provides an awareness program for college students, faculty and staff. These trainings educate attendees on the red flags of abuse, where to go both on and off campus for help, how to help a friend who may be abused, sexual assault and the conditions of consent, how to be an active bystander, and how to report a crime and know your rights. In addition, students and staff will be educated on policies regarding the distribution of sexually explicitly images/videos.

Offers Outreach and Prevention Programs designed to inform and empower the community on topics of Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking through advocacy and education in an effort to reduce the occurrence of these problems. Programs work to spread awareness on how to handle disclosures in a trauma informed way and to link audience with relevant resources in the community.

RESTORE Sexual Assault Services & Wyoming County Domestic Violence Project

Provides crisis intervention and support services to anyone who is a survivor of sexual assault or domestic violence and to their families. All services are confidential. Trained counselors are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to provide information and support, enabling clients to make informed choices concerning medical, legal, and counseling needs, while offering advocacy and information about their rights. Counselors offer short-term counseling (6-8 sessions); medical, legal, and court accompaniment; crisis intervention for sexual assault survivors and their significant others; support through medical examinations and treatment; advocacy and support during interaction with law enforcement; individual consultations with professionals; community education programs; professional training programs; and referrals for additional needed services. Serves as the point of contact for domestic violence shelter placement in Wyoming County. Victims of domestic violence in Wyoming County who are in need of shelter placement referral should call 585-786-5450 or 585-623-5299.
