Substance abuse prevention program for Wyoming County. Professional prevention specialists deliver evidence-based prevention programs to Wyoming County school districts and communities. Programs include responsible server training, underage gambling awareness, alcohol, tobacco, and drugs training, substance abuse prevention skills training, teen intervention, and more.
Encourages partnerships between traditional and nontraditional groups in the community such as youth, schools, probation, businesses, libraries, media, youth-serving agencies, and faith-based organizations, parents, and other concerned adults. Through such partnerships, this community-based coalition provides prevention strategies that target under-age drinking, cigarette smoking, vaping, marijuana use, prescription drug abuse, and use of heroin and other drugs.
