Loan closet provides free, gently used medical equipment including wheelchairs, walkers, canes, crutches, shower benches, raised toilet seats, portable ramps, and more, based on availability.

Serves in an advisory capacity to the Putnam County Executive and Legislature on critical issues and needs relating to people with disabilities. Advocates for legislation to address these issues and needs.

Provides financial assistance to kidney patients and education to those with and at risk for kidney disease. Programs address all stages of kidney health, including kidney disease awareness and prevention community outreach to individuals at high risk for kidney disease and treatment related support for those requiring renal dialysis and transplantation. Also advocates for patients' access to health information and education to quality care, including treatment choices and to affordable medication and health insurance coverage.
