In addition the Long Beach Literacy Zone and Family Welcome Center provides assessment, case management and support services. Services and offerings include ESOL classes, GED preparation, Adult Basic Education, academic counseling, family literacy, social services referrals and case management. The welcome center hub assesses the needs, goals and barriers to education for participants and supports families along a pathway out of poverty.
