Provides short, non-credit programs focused on helping unemployed, underemployed, and career changing individuals enter manufacturing careers (Welding, CNC/Machining, Industrial Maintenance Technician, BAS, HVAC etc.). Students who enter the programs do not need a high school diploma and the course fees are often entirely or partially covered by grants, scholarships and other funding sources.
JCC Career Services will also support these students in their efforts to find a job. At the end of several programs, a workshop is held that leads students through resume building and interview skills. Workforce Development invites local manufacturing companies to interview students on campus at the end of some of the programs (welding, machining and industrial maintenance).
Students have access to JCC Career Services for a year after the completion of their program.

PREP is a teen pregnancy prevention program for middle school-aged youth that uses evidence-based program models to educate youth on healthy decision-making patterns, abstinence and contraception, as well as adult preparatory subjects, which includes healthy relationships, financial literacy, effective parent-child communication, and college and career planning. PREP has an Advisory Board that is dedicated to helping through cross-collaborative partnerships (related to positive youth development work), program oversight, sustainability, and expansion opportunities for youth in Haverstraw and Spring Valley.

Ladders to Success, located at FCA's Learning Center, will prepare identified High School students in Mathematics, Algebra, Reading and English to attain the placement test scores they need to avoid remedial classes and immediately access credit-bearing classes at Nassau Community College and beyond. Services include Mentoring and counseling, tutoring to prepare for the accuplacer test, career readiness and vocational planning services, financial aid and FAFSA application assistance, guidance throughout the college application process from start to finish. Workshop learning topics include: dealing with anxieties, mindfulness, bullying, cultural diversity, and more.

Offers an afterschool program in the elementary, middle and high school. One hour is spent on academics and the remainder of the time is career prep for middle school and high school students, and clubs for elementary school students.
