LI Cares hosts Military Appreciation Tuesdays in Huntington Station, Lindenhurst, and Freeport which gives veterans and their families access to food, personal care items, household products, pet food, and school supplies. Also veterans are provided with information and resources pertaining to veteran special benefits. LI Cares also operates a Mobile Pantry which delivers nutritious groceries to homebound, disabled veterans unable to access their local pantries.
