Offers two programs in Home Inspection at Molloy College: one program for currently licensed home inspectors to maintain their NY State license and another for individuals to become licensed in NY State. Both programs are offered at our Rockville Centre, as well as at our Suffolk Center at Republic Airport. Molloy College offers continuing education courses for home inspectors to maintain their New York State license. Molloy College offers a New York state-approved program for you to become a licensed home inspector. Molloy College offers the approved 140-hour course of study consisting of the 5 Modules. The following five modules are offered: Home Inspection Module 1: Structure, roofing and exteriors; Home Inspection Module 2: Interiors, electrical systems, insulation and ventilation; Home Inspection Module 3: Heating, cooling and plumbing; Home Inspection Module 4: License law, overview of profession and report writing and Home Inspection Module 5: Field training. Offers High School Equivalency (HSE) Preparation and General Educational Development (GED) courses. Preparatory classes are available to students who are 17 years of age and older. Courses enable students to prepare for the GED, earn a high school equivalency diploma, improve educational skill levels and increase employment opportunities. The instruction and classes are specially designed and customized for the student’s skill level. Students work at their own pace with instruction in an individual or small group setting. Three-hour classes, which meet twice a week, offer instruction in subjects that include; social studies, reading, English, math, and science. Call for detailed information and course offerings.

Offers a 7-week course, each semester, to help immigrants to prepare for the citizenship exam. This course is designed for individuals whose English is at least at a high-beginning level (ELI Level 3+). Students will learn about American history and government to prepare them for the civics portion of the exam, and will practice their English skills to prepare for the reading, writing, and speaking portions of the exam. By the end of the course, students will also be familiar with the structure of the Citizenship interview.

Prepare Radiologic Technologists, Nuclear Medicine Technologists, Radiation Therapy Technologists and other Licensed Imaging Technologists to sit for and pass the ARRT exam in Magnetic Resonance Imaging. Course curricula and clinical competency (at your place of employment or clinical affiliate) follow the guidelines established by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. The curriculum has been developed to provide the student with the cognitive skills necessary for entry-level technologists to practice in the field of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Students are required to pass the program with a minimum of a 75% grade point average and will receive the ASRT approved 87.5 CEU credits if they attend the entire didactic program. Attendance is mandatory for CEU credits. To qualify and complete all of the board requirements, Students will be required to meet all supervised clinical competency standards (at participating facilities or at your own place of employment) to be eligible for the ARRT exam.
