Please note, according to city ordinance, no person shall remove any tree, trim branches, or plant any tree or shrub in a city right-of-way or public place without a written permit from the City Arborist.
To report a city tree problem such as a downed or hanging limb, dead/dying/diseased tree, or a tree trimming, removal, or planting request please call or go online.

Residents can dial 311 within city limits, 716-851-4890 outside the city, visit the website, or download the BUFF311 App to report service needs, check on the status of previous service requests, or obtain information regarding city programs.
A report or request can be sent anonymously through the 311 applications, made via online requests or by calling the office. However, if you choose this option, you will not be able to track the progress online. For this follow-up information, you may contact the Call Center by phone. Your anonymity will always be respected.
