Can also provide education and assistance in finding insurance through the New York State of Health Marketplace. Provides access to the Medicaid Cancer Treatment Program (MCTP) to pay for treatment for patients who do not have insurance and are diagnosed with breast, cervical, colorectal, or prostate cancer. Additional assistance can be provided for diagnostic services and any cancer related treatment such as gas cards, wigs, supplies, etc. This is a grant funded NYSDOH program. The CSP funds community-based partnerships to coordinate screening services in every county and borough in NYS.
