The Seniors Program connects those 65+ with local volunteer ophthalmologists who provide a medical eye exam often at no out-of-pocket cost, and up to one year of followup care for any condition diagnosed during the initial exam, for the physician services.Medicare/other insurance are billed and accepted as payment in full, resulting in no out-of-pocket expense to the patient. Offers a clinic with a low vision specialist from Buffalo, First Monday of the Month - Provides clients services from the NYS Commission for the Blind without them traveling to Rochester or Buffalo for the same service.

Resulting reports help the districts determine the most appropriate educational program, related services, or educational strategies for the students. Upon request, test results are reviewed with parents and presented to the CSE. Promotes early detection of glaucoma, raises awareness of glaucoma risk factors, and provides free glaucoma educational materials and facilitates access to eye care.
