Provides essential medical services for persons receiving Public Assistance and other low-income persons. Services covered include inpatient and outpatient hospital care, physician services, skilled nursing care, laboratory and x-ray services, early and periodic screening of children, home health care services and transportation services. Provides in-home skilled nursing care, rehabilitation therapies, medical social workers,home health aides, intravenous therapy, medical supplies/equipment, laboratory services and pharmacy supplies. Also offers Mom and Me Care to new mothers and newborns. Home care is provided by nursing staff from the maternity department.
