A Subregional Library of the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. Lends books and magazines that have been professionally recorded onto cassettes to eligible individuals/organizations, along with special playback equipment, catalogs, and related library services. Maintains a Reading Equipment, Aids and Devices (READ) Center which displays adaptive reading equipment, by appointment only. Provides an open resource room for individuals to test and purchase accessible computer technology as well as additional low vision and mobility aids.
