Assists U.S. residents who meet national poverty guidelines to qualify for hearing aids. Application available online or call HEAR NOW. Agency also accepts donations of used hearing aids which are sold for salvage to raise funds to support the hearing and assistance program.

Provides one-on-one consultations and hands-on opportunity dealing with listening and alerting devices. Recommendations all made to sources for acquisitions of these devises. Demonstrations are offered to adult serving hearing impaired clients.

Offers earmold fittings, hearing aid repairs, and assistive device consultations.

Provides at no-cost hearing aids and hearing support services to families or individuals who have incomes that are significantly limited, who are unable to afford the high costs of quality hearing instruments, and who have exhausted all possible resources for their hearing health.

People having trouble affording hearing aids can call to speak to a counselor about programs to find quality low-cost hearing aids. A free hearing test can be done over the phone, and counselors may include resources such as donated or reconditioned hearing aids, where available.

Provides services for individuals with hearing impairments including hearing aids, auditory processing evaluations, and tinnitus retraining therapy.

Provides new hearing aids to individuals that meet income/insurance eligibility criteria. This program is to be used only when all other resources are exhausted.

Provides assistance to children from birth to 21 years of age who have (or may have) a serious or chronic physical, developmental, behavioral, or emotional condition in locating a physician or other health care provider and may also provide assistance in obtaining insurance and/or other programs that help to cover health care costs. Supportive measures as well as medical information may be provided.

Offers Braille, large print books, described videocassettes, decoders, low-vision aids, and other materials for loan. Also has a reading machine for the blind and adaptive computer equipment for in-library use. Provides demonstrations and training for all special technologies.

Hearing screenings, audio-metric testing and hearing aids for all ages by licensed audiologist.

Represents central source of information and assistance about programs, services and benefits for seniors and caregivers. Staff help callers identify needs and explore options. Services include, Medicad/Medicare Applications, senior ride programs, housing information, and health related services.

On campus university outpatient clinic with dedicated clinical staff and faculty of speech-language pathologists, an audiologist, support staff, and student clinicians. Faculty and clinical staff have a variety of expertise and experience in communication sciences, speech-language development, and disorders. Assessment and therapy services are available for children and adults in the areas of speech, language, apraxia, auditory processing, aural rehabilitation, voice, fluency, aphasia, cognition, swallowing, augmentative communication and hearing services (including hearing evaluations and hearing aids). The Stroke/Head Injury Support Group meets 2 times monthly during the academic year.
