This program is available for children and adults with disabilities, such as Cerebral Palsy, Developmental Disabilities, Autism spectrum, Lou Gehrig's Disease (ALS), Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's Disease, traumatic brain injury, impairment from a stroke or throat surgery, using variety of technology as well as state of the art equipment.

Provides multidisciplinary teams to develop a course of treatment that includes physical, occupational and speech therapy, complimented with animal-assisted therapy, chronic pain management cognitive evaluation, therapy and neurodevelopmental treatment integrated with augmentative communications and assistive technology.

Offers a diagnostic and therapeutic center specializing in screenings, diagnostics and treatment prevention of communication and related disorders in infants, children and adults. The J.M. Ladge Speech and Hearing Center at LIU Post has the dual mission of assisting those with communication and related disorders by offering a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for infants, children and adults (individually or in groups) and training graduate students in communication sciences and disorders. All services are provided by supervisors with years of experience and graduate clinicians, both working together to provide quality care that family members can observe. We offer state-of-the-art care for discounted fees and at flexible times. Services can be provided in person or via telepractice.
