Emergency home deliveries may be available to home-bound individuals due to an illness, disability, age, seniors who are unable to operate a vehicle and to those who are un-housed and in need of food and other resources.

Boxed/canned food given at food pantries to provide 3 nutritious meals per day for 5 days, and fresh produce when available. FORMULA available at CHOW warehouse by appointment with approved referral by WIC.Food and/or Formula Referral requires client info: names, date of births, address for all in the household. Usage for food pantry under normal circumstances 12x/yr. Referrals accepted at 2-wk intervals.

Volunteers may provide transportation to essential services and appointments, run errands, assist with grocery and personal shopping, or pick up prescriptions, plan a regular phone visit or home visit to provide friendly and supportive listening, prepare/deliver a weekly meal or treat, perform general yard work or light housekeeping, and/or provide respite for caregiver.

We do make some exceptions to the age qualifications if there are medical issues until the client can get into another state or federal program. Provides a woman's shelf which contains hair products and other personal care items specifically to meet the needs of women, also has a shelf for men related items. Accepts donations of adult diapers and personal grooming supplies.
