Helps Chenango County individuals when they are diagnosed with cancer and cannot afford treatment or the additional finantial burdons that come with treatment.

Program is for children birth to 21 years of age who have a serious or chronic physical condition and who require health and related services of a type or amount beyond that typically required by children. Assists families in paying for medical expenses and insurance co-pays.

Provides limited supplementary financial assistance to help with home health care, child care, and transportation to and from treatment. Additionally, helps people with cancer overcome financial access and treatment barriers by assisting them with co-payments for their prescribed treatments. Basic family monthly income and application form must be filled out.

* Offers free medication for individuals with HIV/AIDS through the AIDS Drug Assistance Program/ADAP.

* Offers free primary care for people with HIV/AIDS through the AIDS Drug Assistance Program/ADAP Plus.

• DOES NOT COVER hospitalization or Emergency Room visits.

* Pays health insurance premiums for individuals with HIV/AIDS through ADAP Plus Insurance Continuum (APIC).

* Offers free home care for chronically dependent individuals with HIV/AIDS.

* Maintains a hotline for AIDS and HIV questions.

Provides financial assistance to help with prescription copays, health insurance premiums, deductibles and coinsurance, pediatric treatment costs and travel costs.

* Provides financial support services for children in need that includes: School Field Trips. Camp and Recreation Costs and Fees. Music Lessons. Tutoring. Prescriptions. Eyeglasses. Dental Visits. Winter Coats and Boots. School Supplies. Co-pay Assistance. Child Care Costs.

Provides direct financial assistance to insured patients who meet certain qualifications to help them pay for the prescriptions and/or treatments they need. This assistance helps patients afford the out-of-pocket costs for these items that their insurance company requires.
