Program is for children birth to 21 years of age who have a serious or chronic physical condition and who require health and related services of a type or amount beyond that typically required by children. Assists families in paying for medical expenses and insurance co-pays.

Provides assistance to individuals in WNY who have been diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). Grants could cover any expense associated with the disease that is not covered through another means. Families receiving the assistance will be encouraged to donate all usable equipment and other items after they are no longer needed. Organizations such as the MDA's Loan Closet will make the equipment available to other families in need.

Support group provides resources, comfort, coping skills, and a place for women to share common concerns and emotional support. Meetings are located in the Heart Center of Niagara's HSBC Community Room on the second floor. Provides small grants to patients who meet financial and medical criteria, to help pay for non-medical related needs. Examples include: transportation to treatment, temporary housing and lodging, utilities or nutrition related to medical diagnosis.

The deductions are based on yearly incomes, seniors with moderate incomes pay a low quarterly fee, and participate in the Fee Plan and seniors with higher incomes meet an annual deductible, and participate in the Deductible Plan.
