Program is for children birth to 21 years of age who have a serious or chronic physical condition and who require health and related services of a type or amount beyond that typically required by children. Assists families in paying for medical expenses and insurance co-pays.

Billy Mead ALS Assistance Fund - NCCF

Provides assistance to individuals in WNY who have been diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). Grants could cover any expense associated with the disease that is not covered through another means. Families receiving the assistance will be encouraged to donate all usable equipment and other items after they are no longer needed. Organizations such as the MDA's Loan Closet will make the equipment available to other families in need.

2U ABC Breast Cancer Support Group & Relief Fund - NFMMC

Support group provides resources, comfort, coping skills, and a place for women to share common concerns and emotional support. Meetings are located in the Heart Center of Niagara's HSBC Community Room on the second floor. Also maintains the 2U ABC Relief Fund, which provides direct financial support to both uninsured and insured patients who have high co-pays or cannot afford their co-pays, and who are financially and medically qualified for medical treatments and/or prescription medication. Financial support may go towards radiation and chemo treatments, prescription medication, or over-the-counter medication.
