Provides assistance to individuals in WNY who have been diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis). Grants could cover any expense associated with the disease that is not covered through another means. Families receiving the assistance will be encouraged to donate all usable equipment and other items after they are no longer needed. Organizations such as the MDA's Loan Closet will make the equipment available to other families in need.
