SLC provides a birthing center that focuses on all aspects of pregnancy, from testing, option counseling, labor and delivery, high-risk, infertility, prenatal and post partum care.

Provides public health and environmental laboratory services to local health departments, hospitals, medical care providers, managed care organizations, and residents throughout Western New York. Serves as the primary provider of laboratory testing for the Erie County Department of Health (ECDOH) and other local health departments' public health and environmental activities. Provides rapid test result turn-around time and offers a competitive fee schedule. Customized testing is negotiable and ECPHL staff are available for consultation. The Family Planning Benefits Program (FPBP) is a direct Medicaid public health insurance program for individuals and families who need family planning services. It requires no premiums or co-pays for services. Kaleida Health Family Planning Program is intended to increase access to confidential family planning services and to enable individuals of any age and sex to prevent or reduce the incidence of unintended pregnancies. Teenagers can be seen without parental consent, though they are encouraged to talk to their parents about their decision to use a birth control method.
