Women's Maternity Services: Before Pregnancy Care, Prenatal Care, The Family Birth Place, Birthing Suites, Family Education Classes, Classes for the whole family, Expectant Parents. Classes are offered frequently throughout the year as either a five-part evening series or a one-day class. Sibling Preparation: "Let's Celebrate Big Brother-Big Sister" is a special monthly class designed to help children aged 3-10 understand the concept of a newborn. Post-partum Breastfeeding Classes and Counseling: Learn about the early weeks of breast-feeding, expressing and storing milk, nutrition and weight loss, and returning to work. Babies are welcome.

Offers several resources to help ensure children get a strong start for a healthy life. Programs include: Early Intervention – a voluntary developmental evaluation and services program offered by New York State and administered locally by the Nassau County Department of Health Office for Children with Special Needs; Preschool Special Education - provides services to children who are 3 to 5 years old with developmental delays and/or educational needs; WIC - Special Supplemental Foods Program for Women, Infants and Children. WIC provides nutritious foods as well as nutrition counseling and education for its participants; Lead Poisoning & Prevention – Offers information to prevent lead poisoning in children; Cribs for Kids - providing a safe-sleep education program for parents and caregivers which includes the intervention of a safety-approved crib if the family cannot otherwise afford one; Healthy Moms & Babies - Resource center to promote the well-being of childbearing women, infants, their families and communities.; Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) –provides referrals and information about resources in your community that help benefit children with special health care needs and their families; Child Fatality Review Team - review child deaths to better understand the causes of these deaths and to make recommendations based on the team's findings in order to reduce future child fatalities; and the 4th Trimester – resources to help moms with taking care of themselves with Post-Partum Depression, breast feeding and more. Maternity Center provides prenatal programs, baby care and safety courses, intensive care for premature newborns and those with health problems, full range of prenatal testing, classes in childbirth, Lamaze and breast feeding. The Center has its own entry and parking lot. An orientation for expectant parents is held every Saturday at 9am; call for reservations as space is limited.

Provides a supplemental nutrition program for women, infants, and children. This program provides nutrition counseling, classes, and checks to pay for specific WIC foods, such as infant cereal and formula, milk, eggs, juice, cereal, peanut butter, beans, carrots, and tuna fish.

Offers a variety of home care services based on the needs of the patient and their families. There are health aides for day/night hours and live-in aides for continuous care. Also provides personal care aides for meal, laundry, shopping, and errand services, and nursing home care for those who need more involved medical care. Also provides short term in-home respite care for family caregivers, and hospice care for individuals who are dying or are at the end stage of an illness.. Offers specialized medical care for Alzheimer's, Dementia, Stroke, HIV/AIDS, Diabetes, Psychiatric aftercare, Brain Injuries, and Postpartum care.

Provides pregnancy testing, ultrasound, vitamin supplements, nutritional evaluation, regular medical check-ups, counseling, baby care instruction, childbirth classes, and other services for low-income mothers-to-be who may not be able to afford good prenatal care. Also, provide postpartum pregnancy care services.
