Women's Maternity Services: Before Pregnancy Care, Prenatal Care, The Family Birth Place, Birthing Suites, Family Education Classes, Classes for the whole family, Expectant Parents. Classes are offered frequently throughout the year as either a five-part evening series or a one-day class. Sibling Preparation: "Let's Celebrate Big Brother-Big Sister" is a special monthly class designed to help children aged 3-10 understand the concept of a newborn. Post-partum Breastfeeding Classes and Counseling: Learn about the early weeks of breast-feeding, expressing and storing milk, nutrition and weight loss, and returning to work. Babies are welcome.

The Network links women and their families to essential health and human services such as Prenatal Care and Day Care, regardless of citizenship or lack of insurance. PRCNY provides free education, emotional support, support groups, and healthcare referrals to pregnant and postpartum mothers and fathers experiencing depression and/or anxiety (perinatal mood and anxiety disorders including postpartum depression and postpartum psychosis). Moms on Call and Family Telephone Support provided by trained volunteers. Circle of Caring support groups and training provided to healthcare providers and the community. Information and referral is also available on miscarriage, stillborn birth, abortion, and adoption.

Provides prenatal, perinatal, postpartum care for women who need home care before and/or after the baby is born. Pediatric assessment, education and treatment for the family is also available, if needed. Also provides teen pregnancy prevention classes.

Montgomery County offers first-time mothers and high-risk mothers a home visit. During this visit the nurse gives guidance and information on parenting and baby care. A packet of topics such as immunizations, family planning, breastfeeding, formula preparation, and safety issues is given to the family. Referrals are made to other agencies as needed.

Offers several resources to help ensure children get a strong start for a healthy life. Programs include: Early Intervention – a voluntary developmental evaluation and services program offered by New York State and administered locally by the Nassau County Department of Health Office for Children with Special Needs; Preschool Special Education - provides services to children who are 3 to 5 years old with developmental delays and/or educational needs; WIC - Special Supplemental Foods Program for Women, Infants and Children. WIC provides nutritious foods as well as nutrition counseling and education for its participants; Lead Poisoning & Prevention – Offers information to prevent lead poisoning in children; Cribs for Kids - providing a safe-sleep education program for parents and caregivers which includes the intervention of a safety-approved crib if the family cannot otherwise afford one; Healthy Moms & Babies - Resource center to promote the well-being of childbearing women, infants, their families and communities.; Children and Youth with Special Health Care Needs (CYSHCN) –provides referrals and information about resources in your community that help benefit children with special health care needs and their families; Child Fatality Review Team - review child deaths to better understand the causes of these deaths and to make recommendations based on the team's findings in order to reduce future child fatalities; and the 4th Trimester – resources to help moms with taking care of themselves with Post-Partum Depression, breast feeding and more.
