Provides classroom based programs for children ages 2.9 through 5 years of age, who have been evaluated and approved to attend the program by the Committee on Preschool Special Education (CPSE) from the community in which the child resides. As per the child's Individualized Education Plan (IEP) children may receive rehabilitative therapies, nursing services and counseling services. Also offers a day care component for typically developing children. The Center is also an approved evaluation site for the Committee on Preschool Special Education, with evaluations being conducted on site in either Bayside or the Roslyn site (St. Mary's Kids at Roslyn) as well as in the child's home. For further information or guidance in the location and selection of child care services, please contact the Child Care Council of Suffolk at (631)462-0303 or the Child Care Council of Nassau at (516)358-9250.
