Provides supports to people with developmental disabilities to develop or enhance the skills needed to live more independently in their homes or their community. Being a part of a community is an essential part of living a full life. Community habilitation gives people who have disabilities the skills they need to become a more active part of their community, build relationships with others and to simply, have fun.

* Guides individuals through the steps involved in finding eligible services with OPWDD, identify the needs and help work on planning getting those services.

Offering a wide variety of person centered supports and services that assist individuals in attaining their desired outcomes. Services are provided in a variety of environments including day programs, in individuals' homes, work settings and in the community.

Offers introduces individuals with developmental disabilities to person-centered activities including creative arts, recreation and leisure, independent living and employment preparation.

* Provides services and programs for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities or other challenges, such as: Aging Services for all populations. Broker services. Respite. Residential habilitation. Independent living skill training. Day services. Recreation services for children. Supported employment and placement services. Residential services. Vocational training. Autism Services at The Arc Ontario. Bus transportation for participants and the general public. Pet Connections - a training for individuals interested in training their dogs to be therapy dogs.

Offers residential habilitation, day habilitation, service coordination, and respite services to people with developmental disabilities.

Assistance with personal care, meal times, medication and other areas of need.* Cayuga Centers is granted funding to assist families with costs of goods or services directly related to the care of a family member with a developmental disability.

Works with the New York State Office for People with Developmental Disabilities (NYSOPWDD) and partner provider organizations to navigate services for people with Developmental Disabilities.

Provides coordination of services through linkage and referral to supports and services for children 3+ yrs through adults with a diagnosis confirmed by DDRO (Developmental Disabilities Regional Office) to allow them to live as independently and productively as possible.

* Provides comprehensive assessment and therapy for adults with Intellectual disabilities in a day habilitation setting. * Offers behavior management and clinical supports.* Offers developmental skill training.* Provides transportation services.

Offers services to help individuals develop new skills and engage in activities that allow participants to explore hobbies and job skills. Participants learn social, communication, cognitive, gross motor, and fine motor skills through a variety of activities with trained staff members. Activities include, but are not limited to, cooking, crafts, exercise, reading, music, gardening, acting, woodworking, and computer skills. On-site clinical services include nursing, dietary, psychological, physical, occupational and speech therapies maintain and enhance their overall health and well-being.
