The Childrenâs Rehabilitation Center is an outpatient pediatric diagnostic and treatment center that provides comprehensive medical and rehabilitative services to children ages birth to 21-years-old with complex physical and developmental disabilities throughout Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Dutchess and Orange Counties and the Bronx. The Childrenâs Rehabilitation Center is located on the same site as the White Plains campus of the John A. Coleman School.Services include: physical, occupational, speech and language pathology, aquatic and feeding therapies. Medical specialties include, but are not limited to: orthopedics, physiatry, ophthalmology, neurology, neonatology, pediatrics and audiology. In addition, brace, orthotic and adaptive equipment clinics, psychological and social work services, and Care at Home case management services are provided.

Provides physical, social, and recreational well-being to those with Multiple Sclerosis.

Provides therapeutic recreational exercise and work out equipment, as well as classes for Adaptive Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga, Swedish Massage, Tai Chi, and more. Also offers fitlinxx, towel service, showers and an outdoor track.

Offers professional/skilled nursing care and outpatient therapy. Provides physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, aquatic therapy, and social services.

Provides weekly programs at the Batavia Senior Center. Some of the programs offered are bridge, line dancing, cribbage, arthritis chair-based exercise, quilters, and painting classes. New groups are always being organized. Special programs such as 55 Alive Driver Refresher Course, educational, health, and informational programs are also offered. Day trips to concerts, exhibits, musical productions, restaurants, and areas of special interest are also scheduled in the spring, summer, and fall. Senior groups and clubs exist in most areas of the county which offer luncheons and pot luck dinners. Most groups offer programs of interest, entertainment, day trips, and other recreational activities.

Provides activities including bingo, coffee and conversation, seasonal arts and crafts, fitness classes including yoga, lectures, and creative arts. Offers recreational trips and engaging classes and trainings through University Express and other partners. Programs meet at several locations on the West Side. A hot lunch is offered every weekday through the Erie County Department of Senior Services’ Stay Fit Dining Program. Provides outpatient services, emergency services, EKG, lab facilities, radiology, fluoroscopy, mammography, and ultrasound. Athleticare hand therapy, physical therapy, and aquatic therapy (with 2-bed capability) available. Also provides vascular ultrasound, phlebotomy, nuclear medicine, and hypobaric wound care.

Youth programs include indoor soccer, flag football, girls and boys basketball. Red Cross swim lessons are also offered for youth. Adult recreation options include weight room, gym, and swimming. Classes for swimming, water aerobics, and arthritis swim are also available.

Provides after-school and weekend recreation and socialization program for children with special needs (K-Graduation). Activities include adaptive physical education and aquatics, arts and crafts, music and cooking. Programs are also available during school vacations. Also offers a special needs music school. Support Group for Siblings an Mommy and Me Programs. Summer camp available and Teen Programs, Social Skills Groups formed as needed.
