Pain Management Center provides outpatient chronic pain management services as well as post-operative pain care. Specialists use a variety of methods to free patients from physical discomfort, increase functioning, improve quality of life, and aid recovery from illness or surgery.

Provides individualized, preventive medical and psychological care to children with sickle cell disease from birth to 21 years of age. Includes pain management transfusions, stem cell transplantation, newborn screening and genetic counseling and summer camp program.

Advanced clinical services include intravenous (IV) medication and feedings, respiratory care, post-stroke and post-surgical rehabilitation, dementia care (as part of the Bridges Program), Hospice Care, Pain Management, and advanced wound management programs. Services those in need of short stay and rehabilitation services. Participates with the Chautauqua County Hospice for residents in need of palliative care. A full time Lutheran chaplain is available to all residents, although spiritual care for all residents is promoted and facilitated through their preferred tradition.

Offers psychiatric evaluation, assessment, and diagnosis for individuals suffering from addiction. Includes outpatient detoxification and psychiatric pain consultation. Pain Service is holistic and multidisciplinary, with pain and addiction psychiatry fellows, neurology, and internal medicine residents. Provides buprenorphine maintenance.

Works to help relieve or eliminate patients' pain. Includes a comprehensive assessment that focuses on an individual's specific symptoms to establish a diagnosis and to determine the source of the pain. Once this is done, a multi-disciplinary treatment plan is developed that is tailored to meet the patient's special needs. This plan uses a wide range of the latest minimally-invasive interventional procedures.
