Assists youth ages 14 to 17 years with obtaining appropriate paperwork, and filling out job applications so they can enter the workforce.

Provides youth with referrals and services to meet their academic and employment needs. Services may include work experience, tutoring, life skills, counseling, career exploration, job readiness, and the opportunity to earn rewards for academic job performance.

Assists individuals who face barriers to employment, education, and licensing as a result of their prior incarceration or criminal conviction. Services include assistance with obtaining, reviewing, and correcting criminal history information "rap sheets", counseling with regard to legal rights and obligations in applying for employment with a criminal record, assistance in applying for Certificates of Rehabilitation, and advocacy to administrative licensing agencies.

Issues Fidelity Bonds to employers who hire "high risk" job applicants. The fidelity bond is a business insurance policy that protects the employer in case of any loss of money or property due to employee dishonesty. Bonds are given to the employer for six months free of charge and serves as an incentive to the company to hire a job applicant who is an ex-offender or has some other "risk" factor in his or her personal background such as poor credit or a lack of work history. After six months the employer may purchase continued coverage. Bonds can also be issued to cover a current employee who is not bond-able under the employer's insurance and needs the program's bonding in order to secure a promotion or to prevent being laid off or terminated.
