Provides educational services to minors under 21 years of age in the Riverhead and Yaphank Correctional Facilities, for a minimum of 15 hours per week, to prepare students for TASC™ or Regents testing. Also available are Tutoring, Remedial Education, ENL, and Career and Technical Education, and Career/Life Planning and anger management. The program is designed to prepare students to complete the requirements for a Regents, Local or High School Equivalency Diploma. Courses of study infuse contextualized learning, career preparation and skills achievement into daily lessons.

Provides information about the knowledge and skills that are required for specific positions in specific industries and professions through various programming options to educators and students in and out of school.

Hands-on learning experience for youth in eighth and ninth grades to learn about health professions selecting high school courses and setting career goals.

Provides short, non-credit programs focused on helping unemployed, underemployed, and career changing individuals enter manufacturing careers (Welding, CNC/Machining, Industrial Maintenance Technician, BAS, HVAC etc.). Students who enter the programs do not need a high school diploma and the course fees are often entirely or partially covered by grants, scholarships and other funding sources. JCC Career Services will also support these students in their efforts to find a job. At the end of several programs, a workshop is held that leads students through resume building and interview skills. Workforce Development invites local manufacturing companies to interview students on campus at the end of some of the programs (welding, machining and industrial maintenance). Students have access to JCC Career Services for a year after the completion of their program.

Offers counseling, career development, work readiness seminars, intensive computer and office skills training, self-employment training, and job placement assistance to displaced homemakers.

Provides assistance with resume writing, interview skills, and the career search. Resource room includes access to personal computers, fax machine, and internet access for job search. Offers a resource library contains books, videotapes, and other materials for use by job seekers.

Offers employment opportunities for youth providing tools to increase employment opportunities as well as help in job placement.

Provides assistance to people interested in obtaining and maintaining employment in the community. Services include career counseling and guidance, job placement, job coaching, and supported employment.

Offers a number of degree programs in Social Work, as well as continuing education workshops. The school also offers career counseling and community education regarding opportunities for social workers.

Empower and support young adults, up to age 24, as they build a brighter future through career exploration, education, and employment.

Provide high school students with career development, mentoring, college admissions, help with finding financial aid resources, and internships to enable them to explore teaching as a profession.

Provides a wide range of services and state of the art equipment that is used to help customers fit into the future workforce. Offers career counseling, training and assessments to guide individuals in the path to attain their career goals through workshops such as resume writing, interview skills, job training, computers, and more. Career exploration and apprenticeship: explore interests and gain employment skills through informational tours of various work sites and in-depth look at a field of interest through informal apprenticeships with a volunteer mentor.School-year community service activities and intensive summer community service program: youth ages 11-14 have fun, explore their communities, identify community needs and complete community service projects addressing those needs.

Offers youth development opportunities, prevocational career exploration, recreational and creative arts acitivities, academic assistance, and life skills activities in a therapeutic after-school setting to youth ages 12 to 19 years who are experiencing social, emotional, and/or behavior challenges. Participants are offered transportation to and from the program.
