Provides employment preparation to individuals in an alcohol or drug treatment program, to assist them with the skills and knowledge to become economically independent.
A program which guides individuals through pre-job information, such as resume writing, interview skills, etc., including job training, and job searching as they transition back into the work force.
Provides a variety of concrete emergency services, such as food and limited financial aid to community members living within parish boundaries. Also provides advocacy, medical transportation (to Farmingdale residents only), employment assistance, resume writing, job searches, job interview coaching, informal counseling and women's support groups. Provides support for the elderly, undocumented residents and emergency assistance for families. Youth services include Head Start, enrichment, sports, leadership and prevention programs.

The Transition Academy offers a coordinated, integrated set of transition and employment services to help young adults who have already transitioned out of high school, or are about to, create a person-centered adult life plan that includes both personal and professional development supports that meet the needs of transition-aged individuals, their families, and other professionals. Its three programs are: Project Search Autism Enhancement, Employment Connection Pilot Program and Prep4Success.
Serves people who have been displaced from their careers as unpaid homemakers. It offers services to help with the challenges people in these situations often face. Some people have trouble finding: Child care; Transportation; Housing; Basic necessities; Jobs; Others may face: Emotional challenges; Medical needs and Legal problems.
