Devoted to assisting residents of the county to find employment. It is the aim of the Job Development Center to assist all residents, with emphasis on minority group members, in achieving this goal. The center also refers applicants to job training, alerts the community to upcoming Civil Service examinations and county job opportunities. The Job Development Center cooperates with the Minority Affairs, Office of Women's Services, Office of Hispanic Affairs, and the Office of Veteran's Affairs in providing services to County residents. Serves people who have been displaced from their careers as unpaid homemakers. It offers services to help with the challenges people in these situations often face. Some people have trouble finding: Child care; Transportation; Housing; Basic necessities; Jobs; Others may face: Emotional challenges; Medical needs and Legal problems. Services include: Crisis intervention; Counseling; Referral to community service agencies; Assertiveness training; Decision-making training; Assessment; Resume writing; Job search strategies and Job clubs. A distinct job-linkage service that pairs young adults interested in obtaining employment with neighborhood businesses and local individuals seeking assistance in the areas of yard work, child care, tutoring, office help, and more. Teaches job readiness, helps build skills, and enables youth to gain real work experience.

PROS is a comprehensive recovery oriented program for adult individuals with the goal of integrating treatment, support and rehabilitation in a manner that facilitates the individual’s recovery.
