The Workforce Partnership (TWP) is a consortium of local governments funded by the Federal Workforce Investment Act (WIA). TWP is a component of a network of organizations that focus on both assisting employers in hiring qualified workers and helping job seekers to develop the skills and abilities necessary to secure gainful employment. TWP administers a variety of employment related services under the auspices of the Federal Workforce Investment Act. The Partnership represents the Town of Oyster Bay, Town of North Hempstead and the City of Glen Cove under the Act.
